Millions of US Voters Casts Ballot on Super Tuesday

It's Super Tuesday in the US and the biggest day of the 2024 election so far, as people in 15 states vote for their presidential candidate.

Americans Doubt Mental Capacity of Biden and Trump
As Trump and Biden are expected to face off in November’s general election, a new statistics show that many American adults are questioning the “mental capabilities” of both candidates.
The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research poll revealed that 63 percent of respondents were not very or not at all confident in Biden’s capability to serve effectively as president.
Meanwhile, 57 percent said Trump “lacks the memory and acuity for the job”. Biden is 81 years old and Trump is 77.
Trump Scores Legal Victory before Super Tuesday
Yesterday, the US Supreme Court unanimously struck down a Colorado ruling that kicked the former president off its primary ballot over allegations that he participated in an “insurrection” during the January 6, 2021, Capitol riot.
Advocacy groups across the country filed legal petitions arguing that the 14th Amendment of the US Constitution, which bars people who engaged in insurrection from running for public office, should apply to Trump.
The top US court’s decision, however, places a standard that will bring those efforts to a halt nationwide, removing one of the many legal dark clouds hanging over Trump’s campaign.
