Ukraine's New Sea Drone To Terrorize Russia's Black Sea Fleet

Ukraine has unveiled a formidable new addition to its naval arsenal – the Stalker 5.0 sea drone. This high-powered unmanned vessel is designed to strike fear into the hearts of Russia's Black Sea Fleet.
The Stalker 5.0 is a five-meter-long drone that boasts a 60-horsepower speedboat engine, allowing it to reach speeds of up to 40 knots (46mph). With an operational range of around 372 miles, the drone poses a serious threat to Russia's naval forces, including the strategically important Kerch bridge connecting occupied Crimea to mainland Russia.
What makes the Stalker 5.0 particularly deadly is its ability to carry explosive payloads of up to 150 kilograms. The drone can operate in a kamikaze mode, delivering devastating attacks on its targets. But it's not just a weapon of destruction; the Stalker 5.0 can also be used for reconnaissance and coastal patrols, as well as to deliver vital supplies such as food, water, and medical aid to hard-to-reach locations.
The Stalker 5.0 is equipped with a Starlink satellite internet terminal, which allows it to relay a live video feed back to its operators. This advanced technology ensures that the drone can be controlled remotely, providing a level of precision and control that was previously unavailable.
The unveiling of the Stalker 5.0 comes at a crucial time in the ongoing conflict between Ukraine and Russia. Ukraine's forces have already used a fleet of smaller sea drones to great effect, targeting and damaging Russian naval vessels in the Black Sea. The introduction of the Stalker 5.0 represents a significant escalation in Ukraine's naval capabilities, potentially tilting the balance of power in the region.
As the war in Ukraine continues to rage, the Stalker 5.0 sea drone will undoubtedly play a crucial role in Ukraine's efforts to defend its sovereignty and push back against Russian aggression. This high-powered, long-range drone is a testament to Ukraine's ingenuity and determination to protect its homeland.
